I suffer from arthritis in my shoulder and was scheduled for orthopedic surgery to find some relief. My primary care doctor recommended I try turmeric for a few weeks to see if that would alleviate the pain. The pain is completely gone! In addition to the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric, there are so many reasons why we should all be taking this stuff every single day for overall health and wellness.

A majority of studies have been done on turmeric with circumin and it looks like there aren’t many health conditions this compound won’t help. Proven health benefits of curcumin include alleviating allergies, breaking up the brain plaques of Alzheimer’s, easing the pain of arthritis, treating depression, controlling diabetes, and decreasing risk of heart attack.Turmeric has been found to contain at least 20 compounds that are antibiotic, 14 known cancer preventatives, 12 that are anti-tumor, 12 anti-inflammatory, and at least 10 antioxidants. Turmeric is considered a potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, and anticancer agent.

When I started researching turmeric use I was really surprised how many ailments it supposedly helps. Turmeric is used for arthritis, heartburn, joint pain, stomach pain, liver problems, high cholesterol, and fatigue. I have been using turmeric for a few months now for my joint pain. At first I tried adding turmeric to my food but we didn’t care for the taste so I then started taking the supplements. Some of the supplements I tried gave me heart burn, these did not. They are easy to swallow and have no after taste nor did they cause an upset stomach. Curcumin cannot be easily absorbed into the bloodstream. This supplement contains Bioperine, a black pepper extract which can boost metabolism and facilitate quicker absorption so as to allow the herb to provide maximum results. I always am on some form of turmeric because I have found it minimizes my knee pain and lets me feel almost human again.Since I found out turmeric would help me I have been trying to share my experience with others. I thought I would just have to live with the excruciating pain, but Turmeric helps. Now, I won’t say I am pain free now, just that I have been able to cut my naproxen sodium use (Aleve) by approximately 80%. I take no other pain meds, turmeric has helped with my knee pain so much! I was surprised as I am a skeptic and never thought I could find any relief. . I just love turmeric and wish I would have discovered it years ago!

I am 33 and have been having joint problems since I was in my early 20s. along with mild case of arthritis. Needles to say I feel like I am getting old really fast. I stay pretty active and get a pump in at least 4 times a week. The combo of heavy lifting and outdoor activity can sometimes be painful, but the wouldn’t be able to live with the alternative, being sedentary. I was introduced to turmeric as an anti-inflammatory supplement. But as I have read it is also a great way to naturally relive my arthritis pain and bowel inflammation. It is also supposed to be good for depression.
After taking this for a week I can totally feel the difference. My career requires that I am on my computer a lot. Even with with support pads, typing can get painful. I feel great after 1 week. *gross advisory* I have also noticed a difference in my stool. I have usually have trouble digesting so I take probiotics. I stopped taking them for a few weeks so I could see if turmeric would also aid in my digestion. I can’t support my claim with science because I am not a scientist, but I do feel a difference in my gut. I am not as gassy as I can usually get. Even with my healthy eating I developed a lot of bloating. I did receive this at a discount for my honest review, but I am recommending this to everyone with arthritis issues.
