I know the benefits of magnesium having regularly purchased a little spray bottle from my local health food shop.
I love the fact this product seems extremely good value for money for the size of the bottle – 335ml, i was lucky enough to be asked to review this product at discount in exchange for my honest review.
Magnesium oil is considered to be one of the best natural remedies for sore muscles, leg cramps, headaches, migraines & various bodily aches. It also helps you relax in the evening, fall asleep easier, and sleep better throughout the night. I love the fact that it is 100% absorb able which is delivered directly to a cellular level through the skin. And requires no further processing by your body. So i put this to the test as i suffer from a few of the symptoms it claims to ease, one being restless legs and another headaches. I can honestly say that after applying to my legs – i found the easiest way was to spray into my palm and apply that way so it did not go everywhere, that my legs certainly eased. I have tried both the plain version and this one with added aloe which also acts as a moisturiser and soothing should you suffer from the itching senstation that is assoiated with the product possibly. There is really not a lot more i can say other than it does work, you’ve nothing to lose by trying it not many companies are confident enough to offer a money back guarantee!!

Great for exercise aches and soreness!, 2 May 2016

Application:
I’ll be honest, rather than diluting, I went straight in by spraying it on undiluted. I first tried it on my feet and lower legs, and then since then I have applied it all over my legs, my feet, and occasionally on my upper body.

There was a tingling sensation on the first couple of applications, but since then this has subsided. Personally, I didn’t find it too discomforting, but I was expecting this sensation after reading the product guide and other reviews, had I not done so I might have been more concerned!

Effects:
As to what effects this product has had. I haven’t noticed any increase in energy, but I always think with these claims that even if a product did boost energy levels, it would probably be at such an imperceptible level, and it would be hard enough to prove this in a controlled environment let alone in a completely uncontrolled one! The reason I bought this product was to see the effect on aches and muscular soreness. I have recently started training heavily for a 20 mile race, and along with playing football at quite an intense level 2-3 times a week I find in my middle age (!) my legs are taking a hell of a beating. I DID find that this product helped, my legs are definitely aching less, even though my distance running is increasing. It’s quite a big thing for me, as for the last 12 months after playing football my legs have been in a constant state of ache! They still hurt following intense activity, but much less so, and I seem to recover quicker.

I would also say, although with less confidence as other factors could be involved, but I do seem to be having deeper sleeps, and more vivid dreams which I can remember clearly. For as long as I can remember I have not woken with any real memory of dreams. I guess this indicates a better sleep, I’m not entirely sure, but it’s certainly a nice side effect!

I have taken multivitamin supplements (sports/gym specific ones) for years, so always felt my magnesium levels should be OK, but it seems the oil probably does have a far better absorption than the tables, if it is indeed responsible for a reduction in my muscle aches! The book does actually explain that this spray is elemental magnesium, and can be completely absorbed by the body, whereas only 4-10% of magnesium in tablet form can be absorbed.

Tips:
I would definitely try it on different areas in small doses and leave a few days to check if it has any effect on your skin health. Personally I have found it dries out the shin area of my legs but nothing that couldn’t be tackled by applying a moisture product now and then. Alternatively, the book states that after 20 minutes it will be absorbed, so you could wash off any remaining residue at that stage.

Summary:
The seller was very communicative, following up on the purchase to make sure everything was OK, and the book is a quick read but also very informative (I was dreading it would be a huge book full of ridiculous claims. It’s not, it’s only a few pages, explains how to apply, different types of applications, and benefits).

This has been an all-round wonder product, it has really helped with my overall wellbeing. I often suffer from sore muscles and insomnia and this magnesium oil has tackled both issues effectively! The e-book which was sent to me a few days before the arrival of the magnesium oil has been a great help in allowing me to understand the product better and get to grips with which form of use is best for me. I tend to apply it daily for the maximum results and thanks to the e-book I concentrate the spray onto the bottom of my feet as the book suggests spraying it onto your feet is the best way to ensure maximum absorption. The e-book does warn that you may suffer some slight itching at first as your body gets used to the magnesium oil supplement however, this has not been the case for me I believe it is because it is mixed with Aloe Vera which has subsequently left my skin soft and glowing. As I suffer from sensitive skin the magnesium oil with Aloe Vera has been the best way of using it and I am pleased to say that I have not received any itching, rash or any sign of irritation so for fellow sufferers of sensitive skin I would highly recommend this form of magnesium oil. After exercising I also tend to target the area of soreness with a spritz of the magnesium oil, I usually find these areas are the top of my back and shoulders particularly. After spraying the pain begins to ease in 15-20 minutes which is exceptional! To help tackle my sleep pattern issue I spray twenty minutes before I wish to fall asleep and it works like a dream, instantly I feel far more relaxed and I gently fall into a deep sleep and I awake refreshed. This is a wonderful product I would highly recommend this to others! I received this product at a discount in return for an honest and impartial review.
