I really can’t say this worked for pain but oddly, it is very helpful with a condition I have that causes extreme itching/tickling/burning/irritation of my feet. Many’s the night I wake up and slather it on my feet. There are other products that might be cheaper and have the same ingredients but its very convenient to be able to roll it on and not have to wash my hands after. I also tried the cooling version but didn’t notice any help at all.

Great help for an unbearable problem, September 28, 2016

In the last 8 weeks, I have been having terrible gallbladder problems. With gallbladder pain, no medicine besides prescription narcotics can ease the pain because the liver (or kidneys?) filters out any naproxen, acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Ibuprofen does help with the inflammation. As a last ditch effort to not take prescriptions or have surgery, I purchased some Sombra to at least cover the muscle soreness from constantly being in pain. My chiropractor and massage therapist use Sombra, so I knew it would at least help something. The second it hit my doorstep, I opened that sucker up and applied it to my gallbladder area (upper right midsection). The relief!! I can hear angels singing just thinking about that moment. It helped the actual pain and soothed all of my sore muscles too! It worked beyond my wildest dreams. It has gotten me through the last weeks of spasms and pain while I try to navigate a low fat diet with supplements and herbs. A true godsend!
The rollerball is so much easier than getting on your hands in my opinion. If you get any of it on your fingers, wash your hands right away so you do not accidentally touch you face or eyes. It’s not comfortable in your eye, let me tell ya from thoughtless experience.
Do not hesitate to purchase this if you are dealing with any kind of muscle soreness! This is the brand you want! My chiropractor and massage therapist swear by it and so do I.

My mom has a chronic pain disorder and has me order this for her regularly. Its one of the few that really makes a difference in her pain level, especially towards the end of the day so she can fall asleep. She prefers the Young Living Cool Azul line however as she finds the most comfort with those products. This a cheaper alternative, just not quite as effective.
