Since I wrote my original review Pureclinica have changed the format of these tablets. They are now half the size they used to be and the quality screams FAKE!!! they taste like chalk pellets, which is most likely what they are. They are utterly tasteless, I suspect they are made from binders and mixers with zero hyaluronic acid in them.
On contacting the company they tried to tell me the tablets were made of exactly the same ingredients, which was a blatant lie, because the original tablets had several different taste nuances. What worries me most is exactly what is in them now, there could be talcum powder for example, a known agent which can cancer.
I am in the process of getting these tablets tested to find out their composition once and for all. Amazon couldn’t do it, because they say it’s out of their jurisdiction. Next I tried trading standards/rogue traders who couldn’t test the tablets themselves, but recommended I contact the MHRA (the government board that address counterfeit medicines) The matter is currently in their hands and I will update when I have conclusive proof. I’d recommend anyone who has bought this product to contact the MHRA themselves and report counterfeit supplements and demand they be tested. Pureclinica need to be stopped from this malpractice. It’s not only this product which has changed, I’ve read other Amazon reviews on other Pureclinica products which state , “the format of the tablets have changed and they now taste like white powder.” That suggests all their products are now fake, not only this one. The response to my concerns addressed to the company were pathetic and contemptible. Another major discrepancy is that although the tablets state 209 grams on the label, they are closer to 100 grams net. The batch number and expiry date of the hyaluronic acid I bought 9 months ago and the current batch are exactly the same too, despite the tablets being totally different in format etc. That alone should tell you there’s foul play at work. Check the photo out, which shows bottles of different sizes but the same batch, expiry numbers. And if you’ve bought this product I’d say there’s a good chance the same labels have been used on every bottle, irrespective of when it was bought.

I have tried to get these tablets tested to see what exactly is in them ( or isn’t in them in this case) I have contacted trading standards, the medical board, food crime and other consumer rights agencies, but they keep passing me around to each other. No one seems to want to take responsibility for fake and potentially harmful supplements. All I want is somewhere where I can send a sample off to get tested. Food crime at Islington council is currently investigation, Pureclinica make their tablets somewhere in the north of England and I’m told they use a lot of obfuscation and evasive measures to stop people tracking them down. PO box addresses etc. if there’s anyone who reads this who knows where I can send them off to be tested please let me know and when I have the evidence, I’ll put an end to this bogus operator.

I bought this because the reviews Hyaluronic acid were absolutely astounding. I had never even heard of this before, and stumbled across it purely accidentally.
I had wanted to find something that would help with my Arthritis pains (all of a sudden EVERYWHERE!)
This triple strength product popped up and I ordered it. Arrived really quickly, and I started taking them the same day.
I took one in the morning and one at night, and on day 3 my pains had disappeared. NOT psychosomatic, but a complete absence of pain!!!
However, I suffered mild headaches, dizziness and tiredness on day 5, and these are the side effects if that medication is administered via injection. I reasoned that with it being triple strength I was possibly taking too much, so reduced it to 1 at night time.
Those side effects have instantly disappeared, the pain is still gone and I am over the moon!
Not too sure about the “Fountain of Youth” effect, I think I look better, but no-one has asked me if I had a face lift or anything like that yet, haha….

I bought this for my partners elderly mother. She was complaining of not being able to grow her nails, they just ended up splitting/crumbling so she had to keep them short. However, since using this stuff she’s able to grow them again and is over the moon.
