I was supplied with this product as a free sample for the purpose of testing, but this review reflects my own opinion.

Whilst this belt is marketed as a waist trainer, we think that it is very helpful for lower back pain and can be great at correcting posture. It fits easily under clothing, or on top, and can be easily customisable for different body shapes and sizes. I try to be as honest and unbiased as possible when writing reviews, regardless of whether I receive the item as a free sample, or pay for it myself, and I really cannot recommend this product enough. We are so glad that we had the belt in the house when my husband’s back spasmed this weekend.

Appearance
Made from neoprene, nylon, and polyester this waist training belt has the appearance of a black lycra sports belt. At the deepest section it is 20cm, but this narrows towards the front. With large velcro panels and pieces of lycra, the belt seems infinitely adjustable.

The stitching and materials used in the belt seem to be very high quality, and overall there is an appearance to the belt of being very well made, secure, and very strong.

Function
We have never used one of these belts before, but as far as I can tell, this particular model works perfectly. To put the belt on properly with a good fit, the user just loosens the outer straps, then places the belt comfortably around the waist using the front velcro fastening to secure, and then adjusts the tightness with the velcro fastenings on the elasticated belt at the side. This allows for a perfect fit each time, with a varying degree of tightness.

There are “whalebone” elements at regular intervals around the belt, running top to bottom, that keep the belt in shape and add to the improvement in posture.

My husband has used the belt this weekend to help with an unexpected back spasm, and found it extremely helpful. With the belt on he found that he had the confidence to move around again, and was able to get through the day with less pain medication. He thinks that the belt helped by pulling his lower back muscles and spine back into place, and correcting his posture.

We really cannot recommend this belt enough for people who suffer with lower back pain.

Since having my first baby, I’ve really struggled to get my body back in shape. Despite being almost there, I jumped at the chance to try this waist trainer.

It is made from a really thick elasticated material with a strong Velcro over strap that can be pulled as tight as you can bear. I put it on without any problem and tightened to a point where I felt slight pressure.

It was comfortable to wear and really warmed up when I was exercising. These waist trainers are designed to help you lose inches around your waist by increasing the amount you sweat. I think it will help to give me the extra motivation that I need to lose a bit more weight and tone up.

The only thing I would say is that it was strangely noisy to wear . It made a really loud crinkly sound every time I moved!
Nevertheless it was comfortable to wear and gave me support around my waist & back.

It is excellent quality and does exactly what it is supposed to do!
