This kit arrived neatly boxed with plenty of information about the benefits of using it. Inside the box you receive a 100ml tube of strongly scented peppermint, horse chestnut and witch hazel gel together with a cooling gel pack on a black velcro strap.

When I first put the gel (light green in colour) onto my legs it felt cold and refreshing. My legs were not sore at the time of putting this on but they sure felt better than they ever had after I had finished massaging the gel into my legs. I found that although it absorbed into my skin pretty quickly and felt wonderful, I did feel a slight stickiness afterwards and after leaving it for about 20 minutes I washed it off in the shower. I can definitely see the benefits of using this on sore and tired muscles. The cooling gel pack that arrives with this gel can be used on your legs after you have applied the gel as an extra means to alleviate tired and aching legs and best to put the pack in the fridge for an hour before using it to make it extra cool.

Worth mentioning but not really important:- I have really sensitive eyes and I found the smell made my eyes water but I am not sure if it would be the case with other people.

I will share this with my daughter who is currently working in retail and standing on her feet daily for 8 hours a day, her legs are always sore and aching, I will be sure to pamper her and help to get rid of her aches and pains by using it on her.

I highly recommend this pack and it is made of 100% natural ingredients.

As a result of medication I had to take, my ankles/legs, particularly the left leg, swells uncomfortably, feel very heavy and itch like mad. There is not a lot I can do to improve matters other than lying with my feet elevated but I obviously can’t do this all the time. Many years ago, and long before the medication, a member of cabin crew recommended Decleor’s leg gel as a way to help with discomfort on long flights. It helps after a long day walking or standing and has helped to relieve the pain of swollen legs from the medication although it has no effect on the swelling itself. I was therefore intrigued to try this leg gel which is a bit cheaper than Decleor’s offering.

The gel produces a very similar effect – you massage it into the leg starting at the ankle and working upwards. Initially I was disappointed as there seemed to be no effect (with Decleor the tingling sensation starts immediately): the Belle Azul gel takes a few minutes to get going but once it does the cooling and refreshing aspects of the gel come to the fore. The coolpack included with the gel doesn’t work for me but could well be good for someone who, says, is standing around in a shop all day.

It is definitely worth a look if you suffer with heavy legs and sluggish circulation.
