I wish we could give half stars. My rating would be 3 1/2. I have spondylolisthesis and multiple disc ruptures in my lumbar spine. I need fusion surgery but am very reluctant to do it until I absolutely have to. I currently use an elastic brace with plastic stays and Velcro, but was looking for something a little more rigid. When I had the opportunity to get this brace at a discount in exchange for my honest review, I decided to try it out.
First I need to say that it is very important to follow the manufacturer’ waist size guidelines and actually measure your waist. There is very little room to adjust smaller or larger.
I didn’t realize until I received the brace that it is actually 2 pieces. The front section is separate and is held to the back section by Velcro on each side. There are also removable rigid plastic inserts in pockets in the front and back on the brace (see my 2nd pic).
Overall I find this brace to give a lot of stability. One drawback is that it is much bulkier than my previous brace. I suppose that is to be expected to be bulkier give a stronger hold. Having Velcro closures on both sides makes it more visible if you are trying to wear it under your clothes.
It fits me ok but is a little difficult to get the right tightness. The extra tightening straps on the side don’t do much to tighten it because of the rigidity of the strong elastic and the plastic inserts.
I wish I had ordered a larger size so I would have room to tighten it so that the side tabs would reach to the center and not stick out the side of my abdomen. But in this case I guess function is more important than fashion.

Yeah back brace work just fine you’re the first one that I found that kid had a back brace second fit me I appreciate it and I think you and yes you do keep me line and its good that I can tighten it or loosen it when I want to but the board in the back is the most things because it actually support to spine so thank you very much for me is a worth the money every bit and more and the future I know where to get one from now

This is a great back brace. I like it for many reasons:
1. It is made very well of good, quality material. It seems like it will last a very long time.
2. It is really adjustable. This is a great feature so it will fit more than one person and fit them well. The main panel adjusts on both sides and then there is an additional strap that Velcros on and that is VERY adjustable on both sides. This helps make it snug in all the right places.
3. Easy of use. This is so easy to put on and adjust to the right spot on your body. Some braces are a bit trickier and this one is very easy
4. Stores flat.
5. Easy to clean.

My only negative is that the back panel is pretty wide. I have a short torso, so this panel covers most of my back. It has a rigid inside plate (which is a good thing) but for me, I wish it was a tiny bit smaller. I ordered a medium, which fits both me and my husband. Other than the large back panel being a bit too big for me, I love this brace. My husband likes the large panel, and since he’s taller, it works better on him. I gave the product 4 stars but my husband gives it 5.
