I am extremely happy I found this pillow. I have been looking for knee pillows for some time. When I find one that I think is going to work well, after some time, I find myself replacing it with a pillow. A lot of knee pillows I have tried are made out of memory foam. Memory foam has a unique property that as it warms up via your body heat, it compresses even more. So my pillows worked fine immediately, but after an hour, I felt like my knees were touching.

This pillow is completely different. I absolutely love this pillow. I have been trying to train myself to sleep on my back, but it is more difficult than it seems. This pillow works great to put under my legs. However, when you are restless and can’t sleep, it is really easy to take this pillow and stick it between your legs for side sleeping. When I was using my knee pillow, it wouldn’t work under my legs, so I was having to reach beside my bed and switch pillows around. This eliminates that need.

I have put the pillow through some of my tests to see how much it will compress over time. The pillow does measure 4.5″ tall and roughly 20″ long. I have a few pictures attached to this review. I want to point out that I do have a measurement of the distance between my knees right when I put the pillow between my legs, then again after exactly 15 minutes of it staying there and me not moving. There was zero change in the thickness of the pillow. ZERO! That is some great support!

Besides the pillow holding its form far longer than any other pillow I have tried, this pillow is long and therefor I am able to support both my thighs and my shins with the pillow. I tried to capture a photo showing how I hold the pillow between my legs. I feel with the knee pillows, if you place it in the thigh area, your knees bend at a sharp angle. I have knee problems, and my knee bending in those angles are not great. Having both shin and thigh supported means knee is held is a proper form.

Overall, I say this helps keep my knees, hips and back all aligned. I wake up with zero pain when using this. I have actually had great improvements with my knees since using this. I think the good angle just gives my knees some rest when they need it.

I recommend this for anyone who is trying to sleep on their back, raising your knees takes the pressure off your lower back making it easier to sleep on your back. I also recommend it for people who need good alignment in their back, hips, and/or knees.

I had both of my hips replaced and have to sleep on my back. I have tried several pillows to place behind my knees for back support & comfort. This half moon bolster is the absolute BEST! It is just the right height & density. It is very comfortable & I am sleeping so much better. I would highly recommend this product. Thank you!

This pillow is quite solid, it does not feel like memory foam. It does not seem to compress at all, and since it is quite thick, it felt rather uncomfortable even between my knees. Maybe it’ll soften over time, but right now it is too hard, and it did not seem to soften in 15 minutes of use.

I bought this mostly as a replacemet for an old half moon wedge pillow that I am using as a neck support when I sleep. I tried this pillow on last night, and it was so rigid that I had to swap back to my old, quite soft pillow. I probably misunderstood how I am supposed to use this, or I am using it way differently than it is meant to. But it is still a bit too rigid for my liking and I have no use for it right now.

It is probably very good for having under your knees for back sleeping.

I let it air for a few hours and I do not smell any chemical smell coming from it. I do like the fact that the cover it washable and organic. The pillow and case seem to be well made.

The seller, Thera Health Brands, has great customer service. They responded immediately, and have already resolved the issue. They get 5 stars for the customer service. Sorry I did not like the pillow.

I changed my initial rating from 1 star after talking to the seller and realizing this pillow might not have been meant for my purposes.
