So far so good. I broke L4 and L5 (fall from a horse and severe osteoporosis) on May 6, 2016 and I have been taking Turmeric along with Elysium and I can actually jog a little . . .I am 53 years old and I do have arthritis as most people my age do. I can’t separate out which supplement is more helpful but I will keep taking it.

I have a bulging disc and arthritis and stenosis all on the same level in my lower back I was taking ibuprofen every morning for the pain and inflammation just so I would be able to move I heard that this product was a natural anti-inflammatory and decided to try it After only taking this a week I quit taking ibuprofen all together. My back is not as stiff in the morning as it was and I’m able to move freely and even bend over and pick stuff up a lot easier than I could before It has been a life-changing result for me I am often Leary when I hear claims like these but it happened to me and made a me believer. I did not get paid to review this product

I started taking turmeric about two years ago because I was constantly having back pain. I had read all about the different things that turmeric could help, with inflammation being one of them. I started out with taking one pill per day and then after a few weeks, I started taking two. At two pills per day, I noticed that I wasn’t having the back aches that I normally had with every day activities such as putting laundry away, bending activities, or even taking a long walk. I did notice that if I forgot to take turmeric for a few days, that my pain would return to what it had been. There have been many times over this time that I have forgotten and noticed the same effect. I also take turmeric to help lower my cholesterol, strengthen my immune system, and help with depression and anxiety. There are many, many things that turmeric is useful for! I take two turmeric with multiple medications, although my doctor is aware that I am taking this supplement. Turmeric does thin the blood so I do bleed a lot, but the only time this has ever effected me was needing to stop it before dental procedures and recent surgery. When I first started taking it, it did cause me to have spotting with my menstrual period (which is a warning), but as my body became used to the turmeric, this subsided. Triphala Herbal Supplements is a great brand. They suggest you take 1 capsule per day and there are 60 capsules in the bottle. The capsules were easy to swallow with no aftertaste. They had a long expiration date.
